Terms and Conditions for Access
National Lien & Bond LLC ("NLB") operates a nationwide network of notice providers, lien preparation, filing, and legal referral services. By accessing this website or engaging NLB's services, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms.
Liability Limitations
NLB does not guarantee, represent, or warrant the accuracy of information transmitted or received by third parties, or the quality of services to be received by you (hereinafter referred to as "Customer"). Customer acknowledges and agrees that the service provided by NLB consists solely of providing an online mechanism for Customer to access a national filing network, which may, in appropriate cases, involve attorneys and/or notice services.
NLB is not responsible or liable for any errors, omissions, delays, or interruptions in the information transmitted or received, or for any damages resulting therefrom, regardless of whether such issues are attributable to NLB.
In the event that any error is directly attributable to NLB or to the software, equipment, or other services provided by NLB, Customer's sole remedy shall be a refund of the cost for the preparation of any applicable notices. This refund shall be in lieu of any and all other damages or remedies against NLB.
Customer Consent & Referral Process
By submitting a claim form or service request, you ("Customer") consent to and authorize NLB to act as your agent in forwarding your claim form to the appointed General Counsel for an initial review of the services you have requested.
Customer agrees to follow through on the requested service by verifying that a file has been opened and by obtaining a receipt or written acknowledgment confirming the same. Because law firms must clear conflicts of interest, no file will be opened and no law firm will accept you as a client or perform any services until the file has been reviewed, opened, and approved by the law firm recommended to you by NLB.
Customer must provide written acknowledgment to the law firm approving the recommended services on your file. By engaging the law firm, you also consent to General Counsel receiving a 20% referral fee from local counsel, which covers caseload management, reimbursement of third-party marketing costs, internal staffing, and related business expenses.
Upon your approval, NLB will forward the claim form to General Counsel for initial review and pricing. This process is undertaken in reliance upon your acceptance of the Terms, Conditions, and Liability Limitations stated herein.
No Legal Advice
The information provided on this website is for general informational purposes only. Nothing on this website constitutes legal advice, and no attorney-client relationship is formed by your use of this website or by submitting a claim form. NLB is not a law firm. You should consult a licensed attorney for advice regarding your specific legal situation.
No Guarantees
NLB does not guarantee any particular outcome from the use of its services, including the filing of notices, liens, or bond claims. Results depend on the specific facts and applicable law in each jurisdiction. Past results do not guarantee future outcomes.
Third-Party Services
NLB may refer you to third-party attorneys, notice providers, or other service providers. NLB does not control, endorse, or guarantee the quality, accuracy, or timeliness of services provided by third parties. Your engagement with any third-party provider is subject to that provider's own terms and conditions.
